Zollie was born to the late William Russell, Sr. and Elvenia Russell. He is also predeceased by his first wife, Theresa Russell; sister, Lenora Whitaker and brother, William Russell, Jr.
Left to cherish his memory is Shirley Russell, wife-a second opportunity for love, daughters, Stephanie Hollis and Ashley Russell; son, Zollie Russell (Angela); sister, Marie Cherry; brothers, Robert Russell (Brenda), Michael Russell (Lala), four grandchildren, two great grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.
